MRS. S. C. CANDLER ENTERTAINS
HER BRIDGE CLUB
Mrs. S. C. Candler was hostess to
her bridge club Tuesday afternoon at
her home on Conyers street.
The living room was decorated with
quantities of beautiful garden flowers.
Those playing were Mesdaines Dil
ling. Dickson. Guy Rogers, J. R. Sams,
Leon Cohen. Misses Ora Upshaw, Dor
othy Lee and Sara Mobley.
Mrs. Dickson won top score prize.
Mrs. Candler was assisted in serving
by Mrs. Harry Cohen. The delicious
refreshments were a salad course and
ice tea.

Heard Bush, whose marriage to Mr.
Frank Zeagler was an event of June
24.

ed with quantities of garden flowers.
Six attractive tables were placed in
the living room for the game.
At the close of the game the hos
tess. assisted by her mother, Mrs. W.
H. Gaither, served a delicious ice
course.
Miss Bush won top score prize and
was also presented a guest of honor
prize, a lovely brides’ book.

Evelyn, who has been the guest of her

came Monday to visit her sister, Mrs.
W. Trox Bankston, at her home on
Spring Park Drive. Mrs. Bankston has
been quite ill for the past two weeks,
hut is now convalescing.
