The Junior Claes of Heard
Mixon School will present a
comedy-drama, “A Fortunate Ca
lamity,” Thursday evening, March
14, 1935 at 8:00 o’clock.
’ “A Fortunate Calamity” is a
wholly original play combining
good, clean comedy with strong
situations and interesting climaxes.
It is a vivid representation of
American life; the antics of the
colored servants and the refined
comedy scenes of the cook and her
sweetheart afford unlimited
comedy.
■Choruses will be presented by
the high school girls. A small

Harum” as a vehicle for Rogers.
In the new film he is seen as a
wily, lovable county boss, half
diplomat, half-rustic, He wins
elections and arranges love
matches with equal skill—and no
