Rockdale County Finally
Places Low Fee
For Sale.
One application for a liquor li
cense in Rockdale County was
filed with the commissioners early
this week after a license of $500.

ficially passed an ordinance setting
the fee in the city at $2,500 which
was set "in accordance with the

Cleared of robbery charges
Convicted of long terms in prison on charges of bank robbery, these
three men were proved innocent when two others confessed to the
crimes of which they were accused. The victims of this miscarriage
of justice are, left to right, Lester Persinger, Melvin Ledbetter and
Pete Rafferty, each serving a minimum sentence of 10 years.
