Young People's Class of Presbyterian
Church Entertains at Progressive Dinner
One of the most enjoyable afairs, who are home for the summer,
of the past week was' the progressive ! Immediately after the dinner they

Bible School
Commencement
Will Be Held Friday Evening
At Conyers Baptist
Church.
On Friday*night at eight o’clock
the Commencement Exercises for
the Community Bible School will
be held in the Conyers Baptist
Church.
For two weeks now a faculty oi
twenty-five volunteer workers has
been directing the work of a hun
dred and forty children between the
ages of three and sixteen. A splen
did spirit has marked the school.
At these closing exercises the work
of the various departments will be
shown. The program will last about
forty-five minutes and will consist
of the regular formal daily opening
exercises, music, memory work, and
special features. At the close an op
portunity will be given those present
to visit the departmental quarters
and view the handwork which will
be on exhibit.
The expenses of the school will
total about thirty-five dollars.

twenty-five cents per pupil. O:
course there is no registration fee.
The only source of income will be a
free will offering which will be re
ceived at the Commencement Exer
cises.
All of those who are interested in
the religious development of our
children will'find forty-five minutes
of interest and inspiration in these
exercises. A cordial invitation is
extended to everyone to attend.
Services at Conyers
Presbyterian Church
Morning and evening worship ser
vices will be held in the Conyers
Presbyterian Church on next Sun
day, June 26.
Sunday School will meet at ten
thirty under the direction of Mr.
George Plunkett, Jr. Mr. Plunkett
is proving an able and deeply in
terested leader and has won the
hearts of the members of the School.
At the Morning Worship hour the
! pastor will preach on the subject,
I ‘ Witnessing.”
Intermediate League will meet
on the Church lawn at seven-forty

Evening Worship will be held on
the Church Lafn, weather
ting, beginning at eight-thirty with
the sermon by the pastor.

Holds Regular Monthly Meeting Monday
The Baptist W. M. S. held its reg
ular monthly meeting June 20th
at the Baptist church with 20 mem
bers present. We were delighted to
have one of our former members,
Mrs. B. N. Willingham to visit us.
The business session was carried
on by the W. M. S. President,
W. L. King during which time good
reports were given from all leaders
of young people organizations and
circle chairman. Group No. 1 of both
