Community.
The people of Milstead fnd
Rockdale County are happy to re
ceive among their recent newcom
ers Rev. J. W. Liettch and
family. They have taken up
residence at Milstead and are at
home among their many friends of
this section of the country.
Four years ago Rev. Lietch be
came pastor of several of the best
Baptist churches of this county and
more than a year ago he became
the pastor of the Milstead Baptist
church. He did not move on trie
field however, until recent date after
having disposed of a flourishing
business in Atlanta which he
developing several years ago. H"
proved himself to be a most
ful as a minister and pastor of
churches.
' At present Mr. Lietch is pastor
of Rockdale, Zion, and Milstead
Baptist churches, These churches
have a combined membership of
more than 800 thus making Pastor
Lietch as leader of a large following
than any other Baptist pastor ln
this vicinity.
During the ministry of the present
P»stor each one of these church
buildings have been enlarged and
Sunday School facilities provided
for. More people were baptised into
these chuches as a result of revivals
last summer than were added by
any other minister in the Stone
Mountain Association, and already
some of his people have asked
to conduct the meetings this year
instetad of asking a visiting evange
list.
Mrs. Lietch has proven herself to
be a most efficient helpmate to her
husband in the ministry and always
wins a warm place in the heart of
all those who know her making the
spirit of the churches the most ac
ceptable. She is trained in the vari
ous organizations of the church, al
ways a leader in the missionary
societies and other places of useful
nes s in the church. Her culture and.
sense of , good humor makes , her ap- , j
predated in social circles of the
commumt} to which she adds hei ;
influence and aid '
