are out in the bright sun. Spend a
bit more for good glasses. Poor
ones will distort the vision and do
more harm than good. If you must
weaf glasses for correcting your
vision then you should get a pair
of glasses that are ground accord
ing to your oculist's specifications.
Bathe the eyes several times a
day with a cooling, soothing lotion.
Do not neglect this eyebath after
eacn swim. If it is clear, clean
water it is an excellent tonic for
your eyes. but if muddy or filled
with sand it can do considerable
harm. Bath* your eyes after driv
ing in the wind and after shop
ping *)n a hot day.
Watch out for the little lines
that sneak in around the eyes dur
ing the hot summer. You will do
much to avert them if vou
