curity deed by reason of the breach
of covenants therein and the amount
owing the Metropolitan Life Insur
ance Company upon date of sale
will amount to $5100.00 principal,
$905.47 accrued interest, $9.66 ad
vanced for fire insurance pre
miums apd $1.01 interest upon said
advr ement. A deed will be ex
ecuted to the purchaser as provided
in said security deed.

the power upon the grantee to sell

of his failure to pay said note at
maturity. before the court house
door in Newton County, to the high
est bidder for cash to pay said prin
cipal debt, with interest to date of

of sale in any newspaper published
in said County once a week for four
weeks. Said power being coupled
with interest same is irrevocable by

Know Your Timber
Georgia timber owners are learn
ing, among many other things, that
» a real money ,oss to market
trees under 12 inches in diameter,
measured at 4 1-2 feet from the
ground.
A scientific study of the cost of
manufacture and net value per
tree shows conclusively that a very
small profit, for stumpage above
logging and milling cost is realized
from trees smaller than 12 inches
in diameter. It is revealed through
this study that the profit increases
in stumpage value per tree from 11c
for each 12-inch tree to $11.43 for
each tree that is 27 inches, in other
words, almost a dollar an inch profit
for every increased diameter inch,
The timber owner is reminded
that the net value of each tree to
the owner is not determined alone
bv the size and cost of manufac
ture, although these are highly im
portant factors. It is pointed out
