THE COVINGTON NEWS
Perhaps as a youngster, with so many other
things to do, regular Church attendance was
an allegiance not of your own choice. Now
you are far enough along the highway of Life
to realize more clearly the comfort and peace
to be found in His word. There is strife and
hatred on other shores. Your own responsi
bilites and cares may have increased many
fold. Find the hope, the composure you seek
in your Church this Easter Sunday. No
doubt, you were planning to attend. But we
would like this message to achieve another
purpose, too: more frequent attendance at
your Church to find the guidance and en
couragement you want.

Attractions at
Conyers Theatre
The schedule at the Conyers has
been changed a little this week
and brings to the screen “Fast and
Furious” on Friday only. This is
the latest mystery-comedy of the
super-sleuth book dealer and his
secretary-wife with Franchot Tone
and Ann Sothern in the leading
roles.
On Saturday Gene Autry makes
his appearance in “South of the
Border” which is a western pic
ture based on the popular song of
the same name. Although all of
Gene Autry’s pictures are good
this one is a clever combination
of action, mystery and comedy as
well as the usual enjoyable music,
so don’t miss this one day run.
“Judge Hardy and Son” is the
attraction for Monday and Tues
day. Mickey Rooney, as usual, is
having both financial and romant
ic troubles which become some
what involved until Lewis Stone
finds a solution. This latest addi
tion to this popular series has as
strong an entertainment value as
all the others that preceeded it.

Carrollton, saw a cyclone snatch

her out of sight. And since that
day 53 years ago Mr. Turner has
not seen her. Mr. Turner under
stood that after the wind set her
down about a mile away, the girl
got up and walked away. Now Mr.
Turner understands that she is
a sixty-year-old woman living
near Villa Rica. He would like to
hear from her.
