Explorer Scouts of
Troop No. 72 Meet
By Bill Cochman, Scribe
The Explorer Scouts of Troop

day night at 8 o'clock. The Ex

over the age of 15 years and have
reached the first class require
ments. We believe this to be the
only Explorer club in the state
In regard to uniforms, these boys

knickers and green ties instead
I of neckerchief*.
I The reports of both patrols were
given. We are planning to open o
public service departmen in order
to raise money. Under this de
partment boys will mow lawns,
wash cars, carry circulars, wash
dogs—in fact, any thing to be done
around the house or yards. Sec
further details in next week’s
News, After other business was
discussed we practiced marching
with the entire troop for Memor
ial Day on April 26. The Scout
were then called back into the halri
and were dismissed.
We travel from one thing to
another thing, but if we are not
careful the other thing will get
out of our way and be gone when
we get there. Worthwhile things
have a way of taking care of
themselves,
