home of Mrs. E. F. Fleming

Mrs. Clifford Campbelll led the
devotional.
Mrs. R. M. Sealey, president,
presided over an interesting bus
iness session.
Minutes were fead and adopt
ed, followed by. roll call. The
new secretary, Mrs. Walton, in
well-chosen words. . voiced the
sentiment of the class in regret
of losing Mrs. Biggers, who has
served so long and faithfully,
secretary. Mrs. Walton’s

Mrs. S. E. Poole Named President Newton
County Home Demonstration Council
Mrs. L. C. Fincher, Salem club,
received first place for the best
dress in the annual style revue of
the Newton County Home Demon
stration Council, held in the Sa
lem clubhouse, Thursday* and
was awarded a trip to Farm and
Home Week in Athens. Mrs.
Homer Cook received second
place in the revue, in which, 16
clubwomen modeled cotton
dresses which they had made.
The classes and winners are as
follows:

and three visitors present.

a very impressive devotional on
Faith, pointing out some of the
highlights she received while at
