Porterdale (PSW): The Porter

: their selections for All-League for

co-operation of five other groups
of sport writers in making the
selections. Mansfield, Livingston,
Covington, Social Circle and Con

The showing of Porterdale in
winning 8 and losing 1 in the
half of the league schedule has
given them s big lead over the oth
er schools.
HERBERT BURCH—Burch has
played in every league game and
leads Porterdale in scoring. Burch
has the record of playing in every
game, he collected 81 votes out
of a possible 87.
CHARLES ELLIOT—Elliott has
played fine ball all season, coming
to his peak in the game against
Porterdale when he scored 19
points. Elliott is fast and very good
on one hand shots,
HARRY FAULKNER—Faulkner
is the biggest mainstay of the Cov
ington team. He is a sure set shot,
fast and a very good guard.
HUBERT SHROPSHIRE—
Shropshire is one of the best
guards seen in the league for a
long time. He has held such good
forwards as Malcolm of SC to a
very few points. Besides being a
swell guard he has gone ahead and
done a lot of scoring.
DONALD BRUMBAUGH—
Brumbaugh is a fast man and a
good passer. He has passed to
many a Porterdale point. He has
guarded men like Worsham, Chan
cey, and all forwards have had a
hard time. Elliot was the only
player to get past him. He has an
off
him in 17 games. Brumbaugh is a
good set shot.
