Auxiliary to Observe Week of Prayer
The three circles of the Presby
terian Woman’s Auxiliary will hold
special meeting at the church on
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday afternoons at 2:30

Prayer and Self Denial for Home
Missions. The circles will meet
Monday afternoon for the regu

for Home Missions.

by the Young Women’s Circle and

the circle. The morning session
will begin at 10:30 and the pro

Woman's Club Named at Recent Meeting
The new committees of the Por
terdale Woman's Club made their
first reports of the year Monday
night at the meeting held in the
clubroom with Mrs. Tom Lassiter
presiding.
There were 108 members pres
ent, including several new mem
bers.
Mrs. Bernys Shaw, program
chairman, presented a study of
music. Several interesting selec
tions were heard.

An enjoyable event of last week
was the bridge party at which
Mrs. Donald Stephenson enter

The Porterdale Woman's Aux
iliary held its October meeting at
the church Oct. 21 at 7:30.
The meeting was opened with a
song, followed with prayer by
Rev. Cloud. Devotional was
en by Mrs. Horace Bashinski.
Mrs. T. C. Parker, in charge
of the Home Mission program, pre
sented Mrs. H. W. Pittman, who
an interesting talk on Home
in Life of the Church.
During the business session the
call was made with 15 mem

to the regular meeting of the Book
