Last week the Ccvington Club
heard Jack Nichols, Supt. of
schools at Covington Mills, who
spoke on the work of the Boy
Scouts. Supt. Nichols emphasized
the need to keep the Boy Scout
work and ideal going in our coun
ty at the full flood of interest. In
a war era nations are likely to al
low their youth to drift into a
period of youth delinquency, be
cause of the necessity of giving
full time to war effort, suggested
Mr. Nichols.
Thursday the luncheon program
will be furnished by muscians
from the local colored school, and
was arranged by Kiwanian C. E.
Hawkins, Superintendent of Cov
ington Schools.
