TO THE CITIZENS OF
CITY OF COVINGTON
IMPROVEMENT OF
WATER SYSTEM
Our present water system
needs to be enlarged, revamped
I and improved in order to meet
j the demands for the sale and dis
tribution of pure water to our
patrons and at the same time to
have an ample supply for fire
protection. This improvement
will incur quite a large sum of
money.
Plans and specifications for
this improvement are on file in
office at City Hall. The improve
ments to be paid by the issuance
and sale of water, from the water
system.
, An expression from the citizens i
of the City is desired on this
project, and in order to obtain
;ame. an election for this purpose
will be held on the* 17th day of
July 1947, at the City Hall. Bal
lots will be prepared for and
against the proposed improve
ments. This is a vital matter
* and it is requested that all citi
zens of the City express their
wishes in the matter.
