The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, (right) talks over farm prob
lems at Hickory Hills farms near Kansas City, Missouri, with the
four regional Star Farmers during the 23rd annual convention of the
Future Farmers of America. The four agricultural youths were i
selected from 319.261 FFA members to receive the highest achieve
ment award in the nation’s top farm boy movement. One of the four,
Forrest Davis Jr., of Quincy, Florida, was selected Star Farmer of
America. Mr. Firestone, a member of the Board of Judges for the
