You Can Be TOO Clean
Sometimes some of us get to be
such “perfect’' housekeepers that
we wear out not only our families,
but our possessions! A little letting-
alone can pre
vent a lot of
work, and make
your things last
longer.
So take stock
of your daily
routine, and find
out just what is
really necessary
to health, the
good looks of
your home, and basic cleanliness.
Take kitchen floors. Most of us
neglect to find out the proper care
for our linoleum or tile floors, or
the salesman forgets to tell us.
And the first thing you know, there
we are down on our hands and
knees busily scrubbing away the
life of the floor.
The first thing to do is to check
where you bought the floor cover
ing. and find out what the manu
facturer recommends. Linoleum
should never be scrubbed with
washing compounds or strong soap.
Tn fact, it should be scrubbed as
little as possible. A quick wipe with
a sponge will take up soil marks
as soon as they are made, and a
once-over-lightly with clear, clean
and warm—not hot—water is all
the care linoleum needs.

Were there such stellar styles,
such excellent values. Dressmak

8 jeweled pin holds it in place.
Another smaller pin adorns the
shoulder. A moderately padded
peplum adds interest to the
single-breasted moulded jacket.
The skirt is straight.
