SAUCE:
% eup sugar 3 tablespoons Triangle butter
"2 cups boiling water I’z teaspoon vanilla
84 cup sugar
Caramelize the '2 cup sugar; gradually add boiling water. Stir until dissolved,
Add remaining sugar, butter and vanilla. Cook until sugar is dissolved.
DUMPLINGS:

flour 1 tablespoon Triangle butter
P 4 cup sugar V 2 eup milk
3 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoon vanilla,
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Gradually add milk and vanilla.
Drop dumplings into boiling syrup. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, about 25 to 30
minutes. Turn out on serving plate, caramel side up. Serve with whipped eream,
