1-3 MORE PIGS ... TRIPLE PROFITS
The average hog man makes a profit on only 1.4 pigs. Ai
Purina's Farm, 1-3 more pigs were weaned . . .4.1 pigs
above national average . . . about TRIPLE PROFITS!
1-3 HEAVIER PIGS AT WEANING
Weight of the average pig at weaning is about 30 lbs.
But with the addition of Purina Pig Startena to our Program,
we're weaning pigs that weigh 47.62 lbs. . . far better than
1-3 heavier.
1-3 MORE PORK ... LESS GRAIN
It takes about 12 bushels of corn alone, or 40 lbs. of tankage
or soybean meal and 7 bushels of eorn to make 100 lbs. of
Hog Chow and 5 bushels of corn to make 100 lbs. of pork.
1-3 Faster To Market.. Less Labor
The average farmer still takes 8 or 9 months to market a
225-lb. hog. Many hog men following the Purina Program
are marketing 225-lb. hogs in only s'/i months ... a big
saving all round.
