Class of the Covington Presbyter

ness meeting on March 9 at the
home of Mrs. Cooter Hooten on
Campbell Street. The twenty
three members present were call- ;
ed to order by the president, Mrs. i
Kathryn Reagan. Mrs. Velma
Prescott gave the devotional after
which all the members prayed
the Lord' Prayer.
After a short business session,
the meeting was turned over to
the entertainment committee.
Several games were enjoyed and
delicious refreshments were ser
ved by the hostess and her com
mittee: Mrs. Velma Prescott, Mrs.
Geneva Potts, Mrs. Allene Pickett I

The Sallie Fowler Circle of the

The meeting was opened with the
Lord's Prayer followed by the
i minutes and treasurer’s report.
I There were fifteen members and
two visitors present.
The members were reminded
that the treasure chest would be
taken un at the general meeting
in April and the Lenten enve
lopes at the circle meeting in
April.
Mrs. Ralph Hawkins gave the
study, which was the sth Chapter
of the Prophet Jeremiah.

of the Covington Book Club, at
the March Meeting.
