Mrs. L. A. Patrick, president
of the Women of the Church,
read an invitation from the First
Presbyterian Church of Atlanta
to a coffee and to hear the mod
erator of the General Assembly,
Dr. Thompson, speak on Septem
ber 10 at 11:30. She also announc
ed that plan: were being made for
a family night supper in Septem
ber.
Mrs. A A. Guritz appointed a
committee to serve supper to the
youth groups October 14 and ap
pointed members to place flowers
in thhe sanctuary during October.
Mrs. Foster Hudson reported on
the group who met at the church

families who have recently mov
ed to Covington. Mrs. J. s' Gard
ner Sr. closed the meeting with
prayer.
The hostess, Mrs. Clara Biggers,
served delicious refreshments.

for the Gainers was a flight to
