Good morning, neighbors, it's
so good to be back with you this
week. Was just a little “under
the weather” last week but feel
u.p to par now. So let's see what
our neighbors have been doing
this lest week
We extend our deepest sym
pathy to the family and friends
of Mrs. Alvin Crowe of Royston,
Mrs. Thomas Dial's grandmother
at her passing also the family
and friends of Mrs. Archie Mc-
Cullough at her sudden passing.
It seems most of our neighbors
have had illnesses in their fam
ilies. So happy to hear Mr.
Myles Chapman is home from
the hospital; Mrs. Earl Avery
is home after a brief stay at
Emory Hospital; Randle Shadix
is home for a few days but will
return for more operations later;
Marion Goins underwent surgery
at Emory last week so to these
and others who are on the sick
list we wish a complete and I
happy recovery.
Mrs. A. P. Timms and Sharon
of Lawrenceville spent Monday ।
of last week with the T. S. |
Graingers.
Mesdames A. V. Johnson and

Indeed she is the lady of the house with a
telephone at her fingertips. A lift of the
receiver and she's in touch with Aunt Martha,
Daddy at the office, a schoolmate, the
comer movie—anyone, anywhere her little
heart desires.
Yet she takes her phone for granted, and that's
how it should be. Yesterday’s miracles
are commonplace today.
Tomorrow, telephone service will be even
faster and better than you can imagine—
for at this moment, men are creating
miraculous new techniques and equipment that
will continue to make the telephone even
more a part of good living.
