Power and prayer have more
in common than that they oc
cur near each other in the dic

*ll of the phases of power in
owr fives. It gives us the as
surance of God’s authority.
Prayer gives us a personal
knowledge of God himself. It
helps to direct our ability. Pray

It is not only the means of
finding God's power, it is also
the means of being used by God
in service to Him. Prayer is
the deliberate and conscious

power.
Jesus prayed prior tn all of
the major events in His life.
Just as He talked with God, we
too can find power through
prayer. Prayer is more than
talking to God, for it includes
listening. It is talking WITH
God. After we take our peti
tions to Him, God—through the
Holy Spirit — directs us as we
seek answers to our problems
