North Covington

Hello Neighbors, so glad to
see you this morning and do
hope you are enjoying the
best of health. The day began
8 little on the dreary damp
order, many home fires were
shining brightly, and hearts
were gay because of Mother
and the day honoring her.
Hope you were able to visit
her but if not know you called
or wrote her to let her know
you were thinking of her.
Attendance for Sunday
School wasn’t quite as good as
it has been but hope you can
be with us later. We welcome
visitors and new neighbors.
We still have some shutins
and we sincerely hope your
“shut-in” period will soon be
over.
Mrs. G. W. Whitley of Al
mon spent several days last
week with Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Whitley.
So glad to have Rev. and
Mrs. H. B. Landrum former
neighbors of Ringold in our
community for a few days last
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kin
nett of Barnesville were guests
of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. McCart
Wednesday of last week.
Miss Peggy Chapman of
Stone Mountain spent several
days last week with her grand
parents Mr. and Mrs. Myles
Chapman. Sunday Mr. and
Mrs. Luke Lingold and the
Myles Chapman carried her
home and were the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. James Chapman
for the day.
Mr. and Mrs. Randle Shadix
enjoyed Mothers Day as the
guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. P.
Edwards. Sunday afternoon
they visited Mr. and Mrs.
Glenn Lungsford of Jackson.
