i Al very real tragedy has happened in this young man’s life.
But, thanks to mother’s loving care, he will soon have a fresh
bottle and will be happy and smiling again. How many of us,
when some unforeseen misfortune occurs, react exactly like
this small child. We pout, perhaps even scream and maybe cry
a bit. As humans we are endowed with our own frailties...
impatience, anger and the myriad frustrations of modern
living. And yet, how many of us go on day-by-day, week to
month to year, without realising the wonderful experience of
sharing our burdens with pod.
As this child looks to his mother for help; so can we look
to God for assistance. Take your troubles to your church...
and leave them there.

The Church is God'* appointed
agency in thia world lor tpreading the ■
■ knowledge of Hi* love for man and of
■ His demand for man to respond to that ||
E love by loving hi* neighbor. Without ■
this grounding in the love of God, no
government or society or way of life ■
will long persevere and the freedom* p J?
which we hold *o dear will inevitably
perish. Therefore, even from a selfish £
point of view, one should support the ■
T Church for the sake of the welfare of ■
himself and his family. Beyond that s
however, every person should uphold ■
and participate in the Church because ■
it tells the truth about man's life, death p ;
and destiny; the truth which alone will ■
set him free to live as a child of God. B
