Littleton Circle Members Met Monday

Say Rejoice,” closing with pray- |

“The Cooperative Program ||
Dollar Stretches Far,” was an |
interesting program presented |,
by Mrs. Ward Mobley. It was |
pointed out that Jesus said
“Go ye into all the world.” ]
Though we cannot go in person,
the Cooperative Program helps
us go through our gifts. |
The business session was (

gram and the May Livingston
‘Circle serving as hostesses.
Mrs. W. E. Thornley pro
nounced the benediction.
Mrs. Ward Mobley was a
guest at the meeting.

of Illinois, spent the mid-sem
ester holidays last week with
Mr. and Mrs. Homer Sharp.

were Brenau college mates,

mers, since college days, with
out visits and reminiscences. -

Program on The Christian Inheritance
The Women of the Church of
the Porterdale Presbyterian
Church held their regular
monthly meeting in the Church

ruary 10th. Twelve members
were present,

presided over the meeting. Old

ed. Minutes of the last meeting
were read and approved and
the Treasurer’s report given by
Mrs. Pauline Hammonds.

on Saturday evening, February
7, at seven-thirty o’clock in the
Porterdale Baptist Church base

five guests enjoyed the delight
ful games which were directed
by Mrs. Grady Bowden.
Upon arrival, each guest was
given a clothespin and if caught
crossing her legs at all during
the entire evening, she had to
forfeit the pin. This game cre
ated excitement and laughter as
