Fifth Grade
For the past few weeks we
have been studying fractions.
Most of us have been working
real hard to improve our grades
in arithmetic.
In Social Studies we are
learning the states and their
capitals. On Friday we have a
short quizz program to check
the progress we are making in
our Social Studies.
We are having a good time
‘making Valentines for our
mothers and fathers. We paint
‘ed the hearts with gold paint
'and put them on red paper.
Then we wrote a Valentine wish
on the inside of the heart.
On Thursday and Friday we
had a new teacher. Mrs. Hood
taught us and we enjoyed hav
‘ing her very much.
Elaine Knight has the high
‘est score on our Citizenship
Chart. These pupils. have a
‘perfect attendance record, Billy
