This has been a very inter
esting month. We called it a
patriotic month because two
great presidents have ttoir
birthdays in February. Lincoln
was born on the 12th and Wash
ington on the 22nd. We decided
to honor them by learning pa
triotic songs. We have learned
“The Star Spangled Banner”,
“America” and “America the
Beautiful”. These songs make
us love our country and be
i proud of it.
We are reviewing this week
for tests. The class likes re
viewing. It is like meeting up
with people we know. It is
funny, though, how few old
friends you seem to meet up
with on the tests.
