REMEMBERING
I went today to the woodland
Q’er the same green dappled
ground,
I saw the fine spun laces—
A spider’s magic profound;
I heard the same sweet singing
birds
And a hidden cricket’s song,
I sat by a tiny winding stream
As it wended its way along.
I sat on the same moss-covered
rock ‘
And remembered the long
ago, |
Saw a little girl with braided
hair '
Wading in the brook below.
There was the same old cray
fish |
And the same little blue-gold
duck, ‘
The same blue and pink flow
ers, |
With four leaf clovers for
luck. 1
| |
The dream was sweet remem
| bering— |
I forgot both time and hours- l
i Then a little voice said sweetly;
~ “Grandmother, here’'s your

| CARD OF THANKS
We could never find enough
words to say just how deeply
we are grateful for every kind
act of thoughtfulness and love
which you, our friends, have
done for us through long months
of anxiety and recently at the
loss of our loved one. Neigh
bors and friends, relatives andl
interested Christians, have en- |
couraged us and helped to in
crease our faith.
The many cards, prayers,
flowers, and visits have brought
real comfort, and we appreciat
ed each one of them.
That God will richly bless
each of you is our sincere pray
er.
Sincerely,
Mrs. George (Bernice)
