Fate and fortune have brought
you here,
And your heart still homeward

Remember—New friends with

Your joys, your sorrows are of

So. help us to know you that

This experience of Life, with
open heart;
Welcome Neighbor! We’re glad

It just seems “right as rain”
to be welcoming newcomers in
this. National Brotherhood
Week. With all the chaos of
world affairs, conflicts, nega
tivism among our youth, and
what have you; it is so refresh
ing just to extend the hand of
friendship to a new neighbor,
and tell them how glad we are
they have chosen to make their
home in our midst. In such sim
ple things is the true meaning
of life and brotherhood found.
There is nothing euradite or
profound in words of welcome
— there does not have to be.
No word holds such a golden
key to friendship, nor more
kindness toward a fellowman,
than does this one, which con
veys to a newcomer the fact
that he or she is welcome into
our community, our homes and
our hearts.
This week we present as our
new neighbors, Mr. and Mrs.
Laurie E. Price, who have mov
ed from Atlanta to make their
home at 512 Legion Drive. Mr.
Price, a native of Statesboro, is
with American T. and T. Co.
Among his hobbies are golf,
outdoor sports and family out
ings. Mrs. Price, who claims
Baxley as her hometown, con
fides that homemaking is her
chief hobby, with the care of

It seems that the world is

Every day there is an aching
