I hereby announce myself a candidate for re-election to the office of
Tax Receiver of Newton County, subject to the Democratic Primary, Mar.
9th, 1960.
This is the busiest time in the performance of my duties as your Tax
Receiver. The books for receiving taxes are open until April Ist, and it is
impossible for me to neglect my job, and if I fail to see each of you, I trust
you will understand my situation.
I am most grateful for your confidence and favors bestowed on me in
the past, and if elected, will continue to perform the duties of this office

USE OF FREEZER SPACE
Even though every home
maker must decide how she is
to use the space in her freezer,
Miss Nelle Thrash, food pre
servationist, Agricultural Ex
tension Service, says this pat
tern deserves consideration; 40
percent of the freezer space
for meats and 20 percent each
for vegetables, fruits, apd pre
cooked or ready-to-serve foods.
