We are thankful for the many
blessings the Lord bestowed upon
us last week. The sleet was heavy
and we were without lights a few
nights, and many other things,
but God carried us safely through.
We need to “Look unto Jesus”
who said “I will never leave thee,
nor forsake thee.”- Heb. 13:5.
“For I am with thee, saith the
Lord, to save thee.” Jr. 30:11

were visitors Sunday afternoon of
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Chesnut and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Gilbert had
as their Sunday dinner guests Dr.
T. B. Mcßride of Decatur.
Tommy Castleberry of Coving
ton spent a few days last week
with his grandmother, Mrs. W. B
Harvey.

Chesnut had as their dinner guest

The Missionary Society of Hope
well Presbyterian Church held its
regular monthly meeting, Monday
afternoon at the home of Miss
Irene Harvey with 12 present.
The topic was Stewardship. Those
taking part on the program were

Gardner and Mrs. W. H. Thomp
son.

We are glad to hear that Mrs.
W. D. Weldon Sr. is improving.
