Christmas Morning
f One Sunday morning as I

a surprise!
Santa Claus had brought me

r Then I looked into my stocking
and I saw some jacks, a little
bah and other small toys.
After that I went to eat my

i the living room. There she saw
• all her new toys and clothes.
She had a bicvcle, a doll and

Santa Claus Forgets
One night on December 1,
Santa was sitting in his living
room talking to Mrs. Santa. He
stormed talking right in t h e
middle of a sentence. He leap
ed up as he remembered they
had forgotten Christmas was
so near.
He called all of his elves to
gether and fold them what had
happened. They were all amaz
ed that no one had remembered
Christmas.
When December 24, came
they were still working trying
to make enough toys for all of
the children. Santa was able to
make his trip just in time. San
ta decided to tie a beg red bow
on his finger so he would never
forget again.
Freddy Adams.
The Dav Before Christmas
I get the Christmas tree and
get all the decorations on it.
Last I put the star at the top
of the tree. Then the Christmas
presents come to my house. I
can not wait to open them.
Then we put them under the
tree We always put a wreath
on the door. Next we hang
stockings over the fireplace.
Two of my aunts came to spend
Christmas with us. We have
lots of fun.

Christmas Day
On Christmas morning when
I wake up I get up to see what
kind of gifts that I got. Then
my sister came in tn see what
kind of gifts she had. After
lunch we went to see some
friends to see what kind of
gifts they got for Christmas,
then we came home to play
with our toys we got for Christ
mas. That night some of our
friends came to visit us to see
what we got for Christmas,
and when they left we went to
bed.

The Night Before Christmas
The night before Christmas
I heard something on the roof.
I said, it must be Santa Claus.
I looked out the window and it
was Santa Claus. I went to bed
right away. Then he came down
the chimney and to the Christ
mas tree he went to put pre
sents under the Christmas tree.
Then after he put the presents
under the Christmas tree. He
went up the up chimney and
went back to the North Pole.
When he got back home he was
tired.

The Story of the First
Christmas Tree
The story of the First Christ
mas tree was told me by t h e
Fairy Queen herself, so you
may be quite sure it is a true
one. Here it is. Once upon a
time there lived in the middle
of the forest a poor woodcutter
He had one little daughter call
ed Annis, whom he loved dear
j ly. Annis was a dear little girl,
। kind and gentle.

What a joyous time this is
for all our boys and girls. We
have listened to the scripture
reading of the C.irist child’s
birth and have memorized some
of the verses. Christmas songs,
we have enjoyed also.
Everyone has been talking
about Santa’s visit, and what
we would like him to leave us.
We have made colorful pic
tures showing the things we
want Santa to bring us. All
the girls want dolls. The boys
are hoping for big, new toys
that really move. Some want
snace rockets. Others want
