These have been exciting
days at school with so many
stories songs and Christmas
decorations to make. Our room
has a lovely tree that was
brought and decorated by Mrs.
Herbert Vining and Mrs. J. R.
Welch. We want to thank them
and all the rest of the Christ
mas committee for such a
lovely Christmas party. The
committee is Mrs. Vining, Mrs.
E. E. Callaway, Mrs. Welch,
Mrs. Dan Aaron, Mrs. E. M.
Johnson, Mrs. J. L. McElreath
and Mrs. J. E. Harwell. We are
sorry that Mrs. Vining was ill
and could not come, but thank
her for all the things she did
in preparation for the party.
We have been working hard
this month in our regular
school work. There are 13 who
have taken the pre-primer
achievement test and are now
studying in “Day In and Day
Out”. Our two high first boys
are ready for “Wishing Well”,
now. The rest are making good
progress.
Our new 100 Club members
are Charles Chapman. Emory
Johnson, Rusty Welch and
Donna Simmons.
We have had two cases of
chicken pox but they are both
well now and we hope we can
have better attendance after
Christmas.
Our class would like to wish
you a Merry Christmas and
a Happy New Year.

All on the little towns,
The bells are ringing
