By Mrs. Mamie Ozbura Odum
Another year has rolled
around, and please know there
is a load of good wishes to every
one that reads our fine Coving
ton, News, and may we say, as
the Angels did near two
thousand years’ ago, “Glory To
God in the highest, and on

men".
CHRISTMAS GLORY
O Star above that Syrian hill
Brought wise men on their way,
To seek the manger and the
place
Where The Holy-Christ child
lay.
Star of The East, the night was
drear
Rut Thy Holv gift to men,
The glory and Thy tender grace
Made every Nation kin.
Star of The East, show us the
way
In wisdom undefiled.
To seek the manger out and lay
Our gifts before The Child.
As the multitude of Angels
sang
"Peace goodwill toward men,”
May we know the glory
Os The birth at Bethlehem.
Star of The East, Guids us
aright
To sing glad tidings of great
joy
And bring our gifts and offer
them
Unto Our Lord of Bethlehem.
