The two weeks revival closed at
- Canaan Baptist Church on Sunday
night with a packed house. It was
a real old-fashioned revival and all
| who attended received a great
blessing. There were 36 additions
to the church during these two
i weeks, 29 to be baptized and
I others, who previously joined to be
I baptized will make 40 in all for
: baptism. The pastor. Rev. Jimmy
Edwards, is grateful for the coope
ration he received. It is the desire
of all the Christian people to see
this church keep on growing. The
attendance was up Sunday with
135 present with $220.46 collection.
They extend a hearty welcome to
each and everyone to come back.
