News Notes From
Salem
By Mrs. Douglas Yancey
Mother’s Day passed in Salem
without incident or accident. We
can always be thankful when spe
cial days pass and none of ou r
own community or Newton County
friends have accidents. Mother’s
Day was quiet and not too many
family dinners were held.
The family of Mr. and Mrs.
S. J. Moss all gathered on the pic
nic grounds at Salem and held
their Mother’s Day celebration.
