Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brooks,
Brenda and Bill Brooks have
returned home after spending
a week at Callaway Gardens
with Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Harris
and sons Wayne and Clay of
Jersey. Clay Harris was the
recipient of a weeks vacation
at the Gardens for himself and
family given by the Department
of Education and Callaway
Gardens for his FFA work.
Mr. and Mrs. Rondel Dixler
of Newark, New Jersey spent
last week with Mr. and Mrs. i
Fred Taylor and Freida.
Mrs. Herbert Moss, Eleanor 1
and Jack Moss and Mrs. Ray
Geiger spent last Wednesday
in Augusta with Mr. and Mrs. ।

Dr. Nell Strozier has return
ed to Baltimore, Md., where
she has resumed her duties in
the Pediatric Department of
John Hopkins Medical Center,
following a two weeks visit
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
E. W. Strozier. Prior to her
Georgia visit, Dr. Strozier was
joined by Dr. Kathleen Everitt
of Atlanta, in a two weeks vis
it with friends and relatives in
Chicago and Denver, Col., and
a tour of the west which in
cluded many points of scenic
interest.

Kingsport, and Mr. and Mrs. H.
E. Buckminster in Oakridge.
They also joined the Buckmin
sters in a visit to relatives and
friends in St. Louis. Jefferson
City, and Cape Girardeau, Mo.
The Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Carl
E. Cassidy had as their week
end guests, the Rev. Mr. and
Mrs. Loyd Burkhalter and Mrs.
Etta McFarland of Seekonk,
Mass. Other recent guests of the
Cassidys have been Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Roberts and son Bob
by, who is a senior in t h e
University of Georgia School of
Medicine in Augusta. Miss Jane
Cassidy, who is a senior at Tift
College in Forsyth, also enjoy- I

where he is serving as a labor

CWO Harris Morgan and
family spent last week with
their father, W. H. Morgan. Mr.
Morgan has just returned from ।
a three year assignment with
the Signal Corps in Italy. They
left Sunday for their new as
signment at Fort Monmouth, I
New Jersey. Their young i
daughters, Marsha and Ste- |
pheni, remained for a few
weeks visit with their grand
father and aunt.
