party in the school cafetorium.
The mothers planned the party
and we enjoyed it very much.
We played many games and
did some folk dancing. The
decorations were very pretty,
carrying out the Valentine
idea. During the party we were
served delicious punch and
cookies.
We are indebted to all the
mothers who made our party
possible and especially do we
want to thank Mrs. J. L. Calla
way, Mrs. W. B. Lewis and
Mrs. R. W. Hoffman, who
served as chairmen.

News Notes
The Newborn MY F. met
Sunday night February 11.
The meeting was called to
order by the president, Dianne
Carson. The minutes were read
and approved. The collection
was taken up.
The old and new business
was discussed. It was decided to
sell candy to make mon y for
the M. Y. F. We also are going
to clean the church two Sun
days out of each month for pay
and for a project. We discussed
tiie program we will have at
the next Sub-district meeting
i which will be held at our
church March 5.
i There was a very enjoyable

program and Patsy Sams is to
have the program next Sunday.
The meeting was adjobrned
by the benediction. The M. Y. F.
stayed for church and sang in
the choir
Our M. Y F. has been very
busy this week. There was a
social held Friday which we
all enjoyed. Saturday mom’n<
we cleaned the church. Sunday
at Sunday School the M. Y. F.
took over and conducted class
es. Everyone seemed to enjoy
it and it was a good experience
for us.
