Welcome

M. S. M.
“If from cherished childhood
scenes
Fate and fortune have brought
you here,
Ind your heart still homeward
leans;
Remember —New friends with

Your joys, your sorrows are of
ours a part,
So* help us to know you that
we may share
fhis experience of Life, with
open heart;
Welcome Neighbor! We’re glad
you are here.”
Newton County always wel
comes newcomers, and there is
especial gladness in welcoming
its “homecomers”; for it is
ever eager to claim its own.
This week we are happy to
present Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Mor
gan, who have recently return
ed from Rockmart to make
their home at the corner of
Wade and Emory Streets in
Oxford.
Mrs. Morgan, the former Miss
Dolly Beam, although a native
of Walton County, feels that
Newton County is her home,
since she spent her childhood
in Mansfield. In addition to
homemaking, she enjoys work
ing with flowers, and fishing.
Mr. Morgan, a native of
Starrsville, who is retired,
shares his wife’s enthusiasm
for fishing.
The Morgans are finding a
warm welcome from friends of
! the yesteryears, as well as in
the Methodist church, of which
they are members.
