Gertrude Cunard who passed
away in an Atlanta Hospital
Saturday morning. Mrs. Cun
ard suffered from a fall which
occured at her home Friday
morning. She was known and
loved by all who knew her
and will be greatly missed by
her many friends here.
Weekend visitors of Mr. and
Mrs. R. L. Epps were Mr. a n 1
Mrs. R. M. Lockhart Sr., Mr.
and Mrs. R. M. Lockhart, Jr.,
and son Ralph of Atlanta and
M.rs. Sara Vaughn of Eatonton.
Mrs. Mattie India Sigman’s
Visitors during the weekend
were Mrs. S. M. Robertson and
children, Dell and Robby of
Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. and
Mrs. Idus Harwell and family
of Conyers, Mr. and Mrs. Wil
liam Crawford of Covington
and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harwell
and boys. They all attended the
Homecoming at the Methodist
Church here Sunday.

Mrs. Dollie Ozburn has re
turned home after spending
two weeks in Mclntyre with
relatives.

Mrs. Carl Harwell visited
her sister Mrs. Sallie Crawley,
who is in the Hospital in Mon
roe, recently.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Newton Epps
of Augusta were dinner guests
of the C. E. Roquemores Thurs
day of last week, in route to
Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs. Roque
more joined them and visited
Major Jones Epps family, and
attended the graduation of
Gene Epps, a student of Wal
ter George High School. The
Roquemores returned home
Saturday.
Mr. Hill C. Patrick in com
pany with his sister Mrs. John
Hall and Mr. Hopson Jones are
attending the Funeral of Mr.
Patricks sister in Clearwater,
Fla. The sister is Mrs. John
Sowell formerly Miss Ophelia
Patrick of Mansfield.
