Meadors-Ramsey Morning Party Among
Festive Social Calendar Events
A festive morning party on
Tuesday at the home of Mrs.
Jack Meadors, with Mrs. C. D.
Ramsey joining Mrs. Meadors
as a hostess, was a delightful
contribution to the season’s
calendar of social events.
Yellow and orange tithonia
and zinnias were combined
with harmonizing grapes in a
brass container as the focal ar
rangement of the entrance hall,
where guests were greeted by
Mrs. C. D. Ramsey. For the oc
casion she wore a sacony jer
sey with blue and green floral
pattern, and rhinestone button
trim. Mrs. Meadors wore an
attractive pima cotton sheath
in aqua, with scooped neckline.
All green arrangements, a
silver pitcher holding pink
squagmigera lilies, and color
ful garden zinnias in an amber
satin glass bowl lent floral in
terest in the living room. The
decor of the den and porch
was keynoted in informal ar
rangements of yellow daisies
in copper containers.
The refreshment table, over
laid with a Madeira cutwork
cloth, held the large silver
punch bowl of yellow tinted
punch, which was base gar
landed with ivy and yellow
chrysanthemum blossoms. Sil
ver trays of canapes, dainty
sandwiches, cookies and cheese
straws perfected the attrac
tive appointments.
