sometime with his sister, Mr s.
Morgan and Mr. Morgan. We re
gret that Mr. Morgan remains ill
at Newton County Hospital and
we hope he will soon be able
to come home.

Spring fever time is here again.
It makes one so lazy, sleepy and
dreary, but we best get our seeds
planted if we expect flowers or
vegetables.
Mrs. Horace Butler is still a
bed patient at home. Her out of
town guests Sunday were Mr. and
Mrs. Alvin Witcher, Mrs. Perry
Butler and Perry Jr. of Monroe;
Mrs. Fret and Don Long, Mr i.
Amerette White, Carey Lynn Au
try of Porterdale and Miss Mary
Harper of Social Circle. E. E.
McDaniel was a visitor of the
Butlers, Monday. Mr. and Mrs.
Hiram Baxter and Rev. Carl
Cassidy were visitors, Saturday.
Every day many of their friends
visit with them.
We're sorry to hear Mrs. Jim
Hopkins is still at Emory. She
was to undergo surgery today,
Monday. Our get well wishes go
out to her as she improves.
Grover Morton is ill at Newton
County Hospital. We are sorry
to hear of his illness and send

Brick Store Club
Met Thursday
Brick Store Community Club
met at the Clubhouse on March
28, 1963 with a large crowd en
joying a lovely dinner. The Pre
sident, Mike Emmel, called the
meeting to order. Minutes of the
last meeting were read and ap
proved.
Business was discussed in gen
eral. Our club voted to buy a
book that was presented by Mrs.
Pierce Cline on our community
history. Our project for the year i
is to get more history on our com-1
munity. A committee was ap
pointed to get information on this
project.
Mrs. Groves reported on the
progress of the 4-H Club work.
NOTICE!
All citizens owning dogs are advised to
have their dogs inoculated for rabies. A con
certed effort will be made to catch all dogs
that have not been inoculated this year. On
and after April 1, 1963, those dogs caught |
that have not been inoculated will be im- I
pounded for (3) three days and if not claimed
during that period will be destroyed.
We invite the cooperation of all our citi
zens in carrying out this program of protect
ing its citizens against rabies.
