In the afternoon, Mr. Bruce
took us to Stone Mountain

Mrs. Mitchell to ride with us on
the cable cars up the side of
Stone Mountain.
We went sight seeing to the

It was a thrill for us to see

We learned that she spends

We stopped on the way home

Value of Milk
Milk has been called “na
ture’s most nearly perfect
food,” yet it continues to be
one of the biggest bargains at
the grocery store, according to
Nellie Boyd and John S. Con

Service.
Miss Boyd, head of the Ex

and Mr. Conner, Extension
dairy marketing specialist,
point this out in a new leaflet
just released by the extension
Service.
The publication, “The True
Image of Milk,” spells out the
abundance of nutrients found
in milk and its by-products. It
also shows that, although the
cost of living continues to rise,
the price of milk remains rel

tremely kind to the home
maker's budget.
The leaflet, available from
county agents and home dem
onstration agents, shows in tab
ular form the percentages of
eight important nutrients that
milk and its products supply.
For example, one quart of
fortified milk supplies 100 per
cent of a teenager’s daily Vita
min D need; and 51.5 percent
of an average adult’s Ribofla-
