the Entrekin Reunion at Mt Zion
Methodist Church Sunday were
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Entrekin,
Elaine and Billy, Mr. and Mrs
Thomas Lott and Brenda and
M ss Donna Sammons. They also
attended the singing at the church
■which is in Carrollton. Rev. Bill
Kirby is the present pastor at Mt.
Zion Church.
We are sorry to hear Ward
Cawthora, brother-in-law of the
late Rev. J. V. Speer, is ill at New
ton County Hospital and our get
well wishes go out to him.
Rev. and Mi's. Marshall Dale
visited several days last week
near Gainesville.
Attending the Parham Reunion
from Covington, held at Indian

Mrs. J. V Speer of Atlanta was
the dinner guest of Mr and Mrs.
Grady Reynolds Tuesday and
Thursday. Mrs Speer is improv
ing though still on crutches.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brown,
Don. June and Roger visited the
mountains recently.
Miss Nancy Rowe accompanied
RFC and Mrs. Edward Haugh and
family on their trip home to Ft.
Campbellton. Kentucky for a visit.
Attending the Cook reunion at
New Hope Methodist Church in
Atlanta Sunday were Mr and Mrs.
H. J. Baxter. Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Christian and family. Mr. and
Mrs. WtH Allen, Mrs. Esther
Parks and Danny. The pastor of
the church is a nephew of M r s.
Baxter.
