Morcocks Hosts Sunday Evening Dinner
Honoring Calvin Camp Resident Staff
Among delightful events en
joyed by summer religious as
semblies was the Sunday even
ing dinner, at which Mr. and
Mrs. S. J. Morcock were hosts
in compliment to the resident
staff of Camp Calvin, Camp
and Conference Center of the
Atlanta Presbytery, at their
home, Misses Lucy and Day
Morcock are serving on the
Camp Calvin Staff, during the
summer.
The buffet table, overlaid
with cut-work embroidered
linen, held a centerpiece of
pink roses and fern in a silver
compote.
Following the delicious din
ner, guests enjoyed an impress
ive Vesner Service, held prior
to group singing, led by Miss
Luey Morcock, and Miss Char
lotte Gaulding of Queen’s Col
lege, Charlotte, N. C.

straw in shades of aqua and
she wore matching shoes and
long white gloves. Her corsage
was a white orchid. -

groom, was gowned in a sheath |
dress of mauve peau de soie
| with a yoke of Chantilly lace.
She wore a sequin trimmed hat,
| matching shoes and long white |
tgloves. Her corsage was a
white orchid.

with matching accessories. Her
corsage was made of white
carnations.
Following the ceremony the |
parents of the bride entertain- |

Homecoming at
Almon Sunday
Homecoming will be held at
Almon Baptist Church Sunday,
August 11, with Rev, Marvin
Young, pastor of the f:hurch,
conducting the services at 11 a.
m. and 7:30 p. m. At the noon
hour a basket lunch will be
served. .
Revival services at the
church will begin with the
homecoming Sunday and con
tinue through August 18. Ser
ices will be held each morning
at 10:30 a. m. and at 7:30 p. m.
each evening.
Rev. Young will conduct the
revival services. The public is
cordially inited to attend these
services.

with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Anderson.

For their wedding trip to
South Florida, the bride chang
ed to a two piece navy blue
dress with white accessories.
She wore an orchid corsage
and her jewelry was two but

ence, Italy by the groom.
The couple will be at home
in Oxford Georgia after the
15th of August.
