best! We heard last week that we
are being heard in California. We
are proud to have readers across
the country.
Sorry to hear Mrs. Myles Chap
man is a shut-in, due to a fall,
so to her and all other shut-ins,
we send best wishes for a speedy
recovery. To our sorrowing fri-.
ends, our hearis go out in sym
pathy.
Attendance _fm' church services
were about normal. We would be
happy to see our Church full, but
we're still hoping.
Sorry to hear we are losing
good neighbors. Mr. and Mrs.
Boyvd Dudley on Odum St. have
moved to Watkinsville and Mr.
and Mrs. L. H. Taylor on Hill
crest Drive have moved to Alma.
We wish them happiness in their
new homes.
Miss Gloria Dean Wilson and
Frank Malcom enjoyed an outing
at Lake Sinclair, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Kinnett of
Barnesville were Sunday night
guests of Mrs. H. E. McCart.
Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Haney of
Atlanta visited relatives in the
community, Sunday.

CHURCH CAMP COUNSELORS—Camp Calvin—Lucy and Day Morcock of Covington
are working with young people as counselors at Camp Calvin, the Presbyterian camp cen
ter just recently completed a few miles south of Atlanta. Lucy is a graduate of Agnes
Scott and Day will enter Agnes Scott in the fall. Their work at Camp Calvin this summer
has included work with underprivileged young people from the less fortunate areas
young people from the less fortunate econo-mic areas of Atlanta.

recent meeting of the confer
ence at Lake Junaluska, N. C.

Glisson near here, Aug. 16-17,
for their annual Children's
Workers Assembly.
Camp Glisson is the North
Georgia Methodist Conference
assembly and campgrounds.

secutive year Georgians have
been elected to the southeast
ern body. The Rev. Ernest P.
Kendall, pastor of First Metho
dist Church in Monroe, is im
mediate past-president of the
conference’s Pastors’ Section,
The two Georgia ministers
will work with a council of 16
persons in co-ordinating the
Ministers’ Conference. Purpose
of the body is to promote bet
ter communication and fellow
ship among southeastern minis
ters and to provide a basis for
inner-change of ideas. The con
ference includes ministers in
