REMODELING EASE
Modern patterns of Southern
Pine paneling are well adapted
to use by the home handyman.
Styles, such as reverse
boa r d s-and-battens, can be
readily applied to existing wall
surfaces. Wall coverage need
not be full floor-to-ceiling,
thus saving time and material.

SCHOOL SPEAKS
Miss Ramsey’s Seventh Grade
We were happy to get back
to school after the week-end.
There were five absent during
the week. Miss Ramsey was
sick on Tuesday and Wednes
day so Mrs. Potts taught us.
On Monday, we had our first
TV lesson in Math. We have
been looking forward to our
history notebooks. They finally
arrived.
We were glad when Miss
Ramsey came back on Thurs
day. We had spelling. It was
a test over the tape recorder.
We have to be very quiet and
listen closely when the words
are pronounced.
Miss Ramsey brought a
night blooming cereus to school
on Friday. The night blooming
cereus grows in the West In
dies and other warm lands.
Miss Lucille Lynch came by
to see our room. We are work
ing hard on PTA members. We
are sorry that Donnie Moore’s
grandfather died.
We have been studying the
streets of Porterdale. We named
thirty-six of them.
We are enjoying grading our
selves in deportment. Every
Friday we tell Miss Ramsey
what we think we ought to get
and hand it in on a piece of
paper.
Nothing bad happened to us
on Friday, September 13.
