Gone for another - ear. The
fair of course. Wouldn't have
believed there were as in any
children between two and ten as
were there on Wednesday after
noon, if I hadn’t seen them. Some
enjoyed the different rides s o
much that they would cry to ride
some more. The weather was
ideal and everyone had a won
derful time.
Miss Hannah Reynolds is home
for a few weeks and at present
Ij at work at Newton County Hos
pital. She has completed
training as lab technician.
Mrs. Donald Dennis of Gresh
amville (Hazel our daughter)
spent Saturday and Sunday with
us. Our get well wishes accom
pany her as she enters Minnie
Bowell Memorial Hospital i n
Greensboro today (Thurs.) for
surgery, Friday. Os course we
will be with her all weekend.
Our get well wishes go out to
Mrs. Marion Curtis, who under
went surgery Monday at Newton
County Hospital.

after the Fair is over, it's just I
a hop and skip until Christmas!

Have you noticed? The leaves
are beginning to fall already. And
the colors are beginning to change
enough to know which will be
red, yellow or orange. Soon the
forests will be a blaze of color
that all will enjoy seeing. As you
look, offer up a prayer to our
heavenly Father, who is the
creator of all things, for our
lives that they may have mean
ing in the few years that we
live.
