lighted with a creche and opened
Bible on the credenza in the
foyer, A coffee table arrange=
ment of holly sprays and red
carnations, a lighted Christmas
tree, a glowing fire in the fire
place, a holly and poinsettia
arrangement on the dining table
further keynoted the Yuletide
theme,

interesting program on ‘‘Worship
Through Giving”’. She reminded
the members that not only should
they give of their money, but also
of their time and talents to the

needy, This was the November
project of the group.
Remembering the elderly and
the shut-in was chosen by the
circle as the December project
and on Sunday, December 20, the
members took gifts, fruit baskets
and magazines to a nursing home
in the area,
Mrs, Nalls invited the group to
her home for the January meeting
and concluded the meeting with
prayer,
Consumers as well as pro
cessors were able to buy more
products by USDA grade during
1964, as the volume of products
graded under Federal-State pro=
grams continued to climb,
USDA’s Agricultural Market=
ing Service either graded or
supervised the grading of the
following: Half the butter,
cheese, and nonfat dry milk pro=
duced in the United States, or
about 5,7 billion pounds; more
than half of the beef, half of the
lamb, and two~thirds of the
ready-to=cook poultry; a fifth
of the shell eggs; three-fourths
of the frozen fruits and veget=
ables; and a fourth of the canned
fruits and vegetables,
In addition, the Agricultural
Marketing Service either graded
or supervised the grading of
most of the grain that moved off
farms, nearly all of the cotton,
and all of the tobacco sold at
auction,

Georgia veterans of World War
1I or of the Korean Conflict witha
nonservice-connected _disability
so severe they cannot buy com=
mercial life insurance at any
price, may be eligible to buy GI
insurance after May 1, 1965,
Mr. A, W, Tate, Manager of the
Georgia Veterans Administration
Regional Office, pointed out that
new legislation has reopened Nat~
ional Service Life Insurance for
certain veterans not holding the
full SIO,OOO GI insurance cover=
age, Included among the eligible
veterans are nonservice-conn=
ected cases with severe disabili
ties.

visiting the Regional Office at
