while assigned to the 118th Mili
tary Police Company at Fort
Bragg, North Carolina.
Captain Sharpton, commander
of the company, entered the Army
in August 1958.
He was graduated from Andrew
Jackson High School in Jackson=
ville, Florida, in 1953 and re
ceived a B, S, degree in physical
education in 1958 from John B.
stetson University, Deland,
Florida.
His wife, Janice, is with him
at the fort,
